The relationship between finance and sustainability is increasingly gaining the interest of researchers nowadays. Additionally, technology and sustainability are also combined in the studies as they together can lead to the development of the economy. Therefore, technology in finance, or in other words, E-finance, is a very demanding theme to study when it relates to sustainability. This study tries to explore the integration of electronic technology into finance for sustainability and highlights the inclusion of environmental, social, and governance metrics in financial practices. This study uses a thematic analysis approach to analyze the body of literature in order to conduct an extensive review. It deeply elaborated on the use of technology in the financial sector and its impact on achieving the goal of sustainability, innovations in E-finance for promoting sustainability, and the prospects of E-finance for the future. © 2025 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
