ScopusDB is an academic bibliometric search and discovery platform developed at Universitas Riau. The Service provides:
The bibliographic data displayed in the Service is sourced from Elsevier's Scopus abstract and citation database pursuant to a data use agreement. ScopusDB is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Elsevier B.V.
Certain features of the Service require registration. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
The Service may be accessed under an institutional license. In such cases, access is governed by both these Terms and any additional agreement between ScopusDB and the institution. Institutional administrators have elevated permissions to import data, manage users, and view usage reports.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at info@invorda.org if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show evidence of compromise or abuse.
Subject to these Terms, ScopusDB grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for the following purposes:

The software, design, interface, code, trademarks, and non-bibliographic content of the Service are the property of ScopusDB and its licensors, protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the platform without express written permission.
The publication records, abstracts, author metadata, and citation data displayed in the Service are owned by or licensed from Elsevier B.V. under Scopus data licensing terms. Your use of this data is subject to those terms in addition to these Terms of Service. Elsevier retains all rights, title, and interest in the underlying Scopus dataset.
If you submit feedback, annotations, or other content to the Service, you grant ScopusDB a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use such content to operate and improve the Service.
The bibliographic data in ScopusDB is updated periodically from Elsevier Scopus exports and may not reflect the most current publication records at all times. ScopusDB makes no warranty regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any data displayed in the Service.
If you identify an error in a publication record or author profile, please use the feedback mechanism in the application or contact us at info@invorda.org. We will investigate and, where possible, correct the record in the next database update cycle.
ScopusDB does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. ScopusDB does not warrant that search results will be complete or reflect all publications relevant to a given query.
Bibliometric indicators (citations, h-index, CiteScore, etc.) are provided for informational purposes only and should not be used as the sole basis for academic evaluation, hiring, promotion, or funding decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScopusDB and its officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of research opportunity, arising from:
In jurisdictions where limitation of liability for consequential damages is not permitted, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent allowed by law. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you to ScopusDB in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScopusDB, Universitas Riau, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or relating to:
ScopusDB reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms, abuse of the system, or at the request of your institution.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@invorda.org. Upon termination, your right to access the Service immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability — shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia.
Notwithstanding the above, ScopusDB may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights.
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email to registered users and by posting a notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date of the changes.
