Abstract

This research aims to create teaching materials in the form of an E-module on cubes and blocks for eighth-grade students of junior high schools that are valid, practical, and effective in the Malay Islamic context. The development research method was used, which consists of the preliminary stage (preparation and design stage) and the prototyping stage using the formative evaluation flow (self-evaluation, one-to-one, small group, field test). Walkthrough sheets, questionnaires, and tests were used to collect data. With 12 students, the research subjects were class VIII F students from SMP Negeri 51 Palembang. According to the study's findings, the research produced teaching materials in the form of E-modules based on the Malay Islamic context that was valid, practical, and effective for Grade VIII junior high school students. This is evidenced by the validator's assessment, which indicates that the E-module has a moderately valid category, as well as the results of the one-to-one stage trials, small group stage, and field test, all of which indicate that the E-module has a very practical category. The results of the one-on-one, small group, and field trials all indicate that the E-module is in the effective category. © 2024 Author(s).
