Opera computer system(Abbreviations: Opera)as a representative of the scientific management of the modern hotel industry, while catering to the rapid development of the global tourism economy in the era of big data, it also meets the diverse needs of tourists and business people in tourist destinations for the digitalization and personalization of hotel services. This article investigates and researches the training system of hospitality management information courses represented by Opera system and the internship experience of professional students in hospitality management. This paper discusses the application of Opera in hotel service to guests and the operation process between departments, and then analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of Opera computer system in hospitality management information operation. Meanwhile, this paper proposes the joint development of Opera computer system software development company, information training of hospitality management colleges and universities, and hotel groups. From the perspective of professional talent training, this paper puts forward development suggestions for teachers and students to strengthen training, encourage competition, and stimulate innovation. The research of the topic will help to enhance the attention of hospitality management colleges to computer information system courses. It can not only promote international hotel groups and hospitality management colleges to improve the level of hotel information services, cultivate interdisciplinary hospitality management professionals with mastery of information technology, foreign language communication ability and vocational skills, but also help to improve the computer system represented by Opera to provide more efficient and convenient information services level for guests and hotel staff in the global hotel industry. © 2024 IEEE.
