Integrating Biotechnological and Digital Health Innovations into the AGIL Model for Enhanced English Education Informatization in Universities

Abstract

The development of digital health education is a complex and dynamic process that requires innovative approaches to effectively address its challenges and promote its growth. This paper proposes the application of the AGIL model—a systemic functional framework that operates on the interaction between social systems and subsystems—to guide the informatization of English education in universities. The AGIL model is designed to manage the sustainable development of educational systems by maintaining a dynamic balance between technological advancements and societal needs. By systematically deconstructing the challenges faced in the informatization of English education, the AGIL model provides a global perspective that integrates technology, social systems, and educational frameworks. This approach aims to mitigate the technological impacts on education and enhance the system's overall effectiveness. The study's results indicate that, based on the AGIL model, the scores for school administration, research management, and information sharing in universities are 3.5, 3.1, and 2.9, respectively. These scores suggest that the informatization of English education is transitioning from the application stage to a more standardized level. The application of the AGIL model in this context effectively supports the construction of a robust English education system, leading to improved teaching standardization and enhanced student learning outcomes. By integrating digital health technologies and biotechnological tools, this approach ensures that universities, educators, and students all benefit from a more efficient and effective educational environment. © 2024, Journal of Commercial Biotechnology.
