Does Joblessness Act as Factor Among Competency-Based Educational Inequalities on Community SDGs in Ethiopia?

Addressing Sustainable Development Goals Through Competency-Based Education
Journal · pp. 85-112
Abstract

This chapter uses a strong quantitative technique to examine how Ethiopian Joblessness as well as Competency-Based educational disparities affect Community Sustainable Development Goals. The associations among Joblessness rates, educational gaps, as well as their combined effect on Community Sustainable Development Goals indicators were investigated using a sample size of 390 respondents. The investigation evaluated the data fitness with adequacy metric; a KMO value over the 0.6 cutoff point depicted adequate sampling adequacy. To validate the measurement model as well as guarantee the no cross loadings among variables involved, confirmatory factor analysis, or CFA, was performed. Direct as well as indirect interactions among the constructs were explored through the use of AMOS software as well as structural equation modeling (SEM). The outcomes exposed that Competency-Based educational differences have a substantial effect on Joblessness rates, which have a negative effect on Community Sustainable Development Goals outcomes including poverty, health, as well as public cohesiveness. © 2026, IGI Global Scientific Publishing.
