Abstract

This book explores the crucial role of public acceptance in advancing green growth, decarbonization, and rapid advancements of renewable energy technologies. It shows that public acceptance is as critical as technological innovation, given the significant infrastructure, land use, and behavioral changes required for a successful transition toward a carbon-neutral society. It provides theoretical frameworks tested in real-life case studies from around the world.
