This paper makes an in-depth investigation on the implementation of the modern apprenticeship pilot project of express delivery operation management major in domestic higher vocational colleges, summarizes the existing problems in the orientation of apprenticeship training objectives, teaching and production docking, and the selection of teaching staff, and makes an in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems. Taking the exploration of Hubei Communications Technical College in cultivating intelligent express elite apprentices as an example, this paper puts forward the talent training goal of accurately positioning intelligent express elite apprentices, accurately positioning the number of apprentices, accurately docking teaching and production, and accurately formulating the selection criteria for apprentices. On this basis, the quality of apprentices can be guaranteed through the joint enrollment of schools and enterprises. The quality of apprenticeship can be guaranteed by the combination of school and enterprise. School enterprise joint employment ensures the quality of apprentice career planning and realizes the talent training plan of intelligent express elite apprentices. © 2021 ACM.
