Project-based learning based on stem (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) to develop the skill of vocational high school students

4th International Conference on Vocational Education and Training, ICOVET 2020
Conference · pp. 123-126
Abstract

The world is rapidly developing. With the rapid development in the economic sector, vocational high school students were expected to meet the demand of the industry or related parties such as preparing to be entrepreneurs. The problem that occurred was that vocational high school students still lacked the soft skill. It influenced the obtained skill from vocational high school students. A solution that could be conducted was implementing Project-based Learning integrated with STEM (or, PJBL-STEM). In this type of learning, a teacher was required to improve their ability because, without proper preparation, it would be challenging to implement it. © 2020 IEEE.
