This article is based on semi-directed interviews with migrant learners enrolled in vocational and technical programs, teachers, administrative staff of a Montreal school board and companies' internship supervisors. It analyses various factors which influence the success at school of these learners. The analysis of the situational, institutional and dispositional factors shows the complexity of professional integration through vocational and technical training. The convergence of these factors reveals, among others, a need for an adaptation of institutional practices towards this kind of learners in order to facilitate professional integration between pre- and post-migration process.; Basé sur des entrevues semi-dirigées auprès d'apprenants immigrants en formation professionnelle et technique, de membres du personnel enseignant et administratif d'une commission scolaire montréalaise et de superviseurs de stage en entreprise, l'article analyse différents facteurs qui influent sur la réussite scolaire de ces apprenants. L'analyse des facteurs situationnels, institutionnels et dispositionnels montre la complexité de la question de l'intégration professionnelle via la formation professionnelle et technique.
